Some Bafang hub motors, including certain G060 and G062 versions, use a 10-pin round connector instead of the common 9-pin plug; other versions use 9 or 11 pins. This 10-pin extension cable (L1019 type) has a male plug on one end and a female plug on the other and sits in line between the motor lead and the controller to replace a damaged lead or add reach.
Key facts as stated by the manufacturer: 10-pin waterproof round connectors with metal screw locking rings, 12 AWG pure-copper wire, 24 in (about 61 cm) long, rated 30 A and up to 72 V, IP65, RoHS. The manufacturer says it fits 10-pin Bafang G060 and G062 hub motors, front and rear.
Check before you order: count the pins on your motor plug. A 9-pin or 11-pin plug will not mate with this cable, and the screw-ring connector is not the same as a push-together 9-pin plug. It is not for mid-drive motors.
Installation takes about 10 minutes: disconnect the battery, unplug the motor lead from the controller, thread the cable through, screw both rings down fully and secure the cable with zip ties.
