Not sure? Send photos — we check before you payA hub motor can twist its own axle in the dropout under power, which chews up the frame or fork and can let the wheel come out. A torque arm locks the axle against the frame so the motor torque cannot turn it. This kit has two complete sets, so you can do both wheels or keep a spare.
The listing gives these dimensions: arm length 86 mm, axle opening 14 x 10 mm, C-clamp opening 14 x 10 mm, arm thickness 3 mm and hub mount thickness 4 mm. It is stainless steel with an anodized surface, and can be installed inside or outside the frame or fork, on a front or rear hub motor. The photo shows the arm, hub mount, C-clamp, hose clamp, bolt, nut and washers for each set.
Check before you order: measure your motor axle with calipers and match it to the 14 x 10 mm opening. Axles of other sizes, such as 12 mm, will not fit. A torque arm is a backup, not a replacement for correctly tightened axle nuts, so tighten the nuts to the motor maker's torque value too.
Re-check the arm and its bolts after the first few rides.
