Restore your speedometer and speed-based assist with a replacement wheel speed sensor and spoke magnet for Bafang mid-drive systems. The sensor mounts on the chainstay and reads a magnet clipped to a spoke, with a dual Hall sensor for reliable signal detection. The 40 cm cable ends in a blue 4-pin waterproof male plug.
Fits the speed-sensor port on Bafang M410, M510, M600 and M620 systems whose harness has the blue 4-pin speed plug. A missing or misaligned speed signal usually shows as zero speed on the display, wrong trip data, or a speed-related error message.
Key facts: 5 V supply (+/- 0.5 V), under 10 mA, IP65, operating range -40 to 125 C. The gap between sensor and magnet must be 10 to 20 mm. Mount the sensor on the rear chainstay with an M5 x 12 Phillips screw at 1 N.m, clip the magnet to a spoke and tighten its Torx screw at 1.5 to 2 N.m.
Before you order: unplug your current speed sensor and check the plug. It must be a blue, 4-pin waterproof plug. BBS01B / BBS02B / BBSHD speed sensors use a different plug and are not covered by this part.
