USB Programming Cable, 5-Pin Round Plug, 58 cm - Fits Bafang BBS01B / BBS02B / BBSHD (UART Only)

Bafang BBS mid-drive kits can be tuned from a computer: pedal-assist levels, speed and current limits and other settings are changed through a programming cable. You unplug the display, connect this cable to the display plug of the main harness, and plug the USB end into your computer.

Key facts as stated by the manufacturer: a USB type A plug with a built-in USB-to-serial adapter on one end, and a round waterproof plug with a green 5-hole (female) face on the other end. Length about 58 cm (22.8 in). For UART systems.

Fits: Bafang BBS01B, BBS02B and BBSHD mid-drive kits that use the UART protocol and have the round 5-pin display plug. Does not fit: Bafang M-series mid-drives such as the M620 (G510), M600, M510 or M500; CAN-bus systems; hub-motor kits.

Check the plug shape. The maker ships the new version or the old version of this cable at random, and the two versions can look different. Before you order, unplug your display and look at the display plug on the main harness: it must be the round 5-pin type. When the cable arrives, compare its plug with your harness before you connect it. If it does not match, do not force it: email us and we make it right.

This is the cable only. No software is included; use your own Bafang-compatible programming tool. Write down the original settings first and change one setting at a time: wrong settings can overheat the motor or the controller.
