This S866 LCD display replaces it: a backlit screen with speed, battery level and trip data, mounted on a 22.2 mm handlebar clamp and connected through an SM plug.
Key facts as stated by the manufacturer: UART communication protocol, 24 V, 36 V and 48 V, IP65, ABS housing, backlit LCD with three buttons, bracket for 22.2 mm (0.9 in) bars, about 138 g. A manual is included.
Check before you order: the display and the controller have to speak the same protocol. This display uses UART and an SM plug; the manufacturer asks buyers to check that the protocol matches before purchase, and the pin count and wire order of the plug are not published. Send us a photo of your old display and its plug first. It is not for KT-protocol or Bafang systems unless your controller is UART, nor for 52 V or 60 V systems.
Installation takes about 10 minutes: disconnect the battery, unplug the old display, clamp the new one in place, plug in and test.
