Brushless Motor and Controller Tester, 24-72V

When an e-bike will not move, you need to know whether the motor or the controller has failed. This tester checks brushless motors and controllers on systems from 24 V to 72 V (24, 36, 48, 60 and 72 V).

Per the listing, it tests the brushless motor phase sequence (ABC), whether the phase angle is 60 or 120 degrees, and whether the motor coils, the controller and the hall sensors are good or bad. It runs on a 9 V battery (included), with a working temperature of -20 to 50 C.

Check before you order: this is for brushless e-bike, scooter and electric vehicle motors and controllers within 24-72 V, not for brushed motors. The listing does not describe the connector styles; the photo shows clip leads and test points, so you may need to reach the bare wires or the plugs on your motor and controller. Email us photos of the plugs on your motor and controller and we will tell you what it takes before you order.

Follow the labels on the unit and disconnect the battery from the bike before you connect the tester.
