Bike Chain Breaker and Installer Tool
Does it fit your bike?
- Fits Common bicycle chains, 7 to 12-speed (per manufacturer listing)
- Not for Chains outside 7-12 speed unless the tool is confirmed to fit
Our fit guarantee covers parts we confirm from your photos (free). Without that check, electrical parts can't be returned once connected.
Not sure? Send photos — we check before you payA snapped chain on the road or a worn chain at home both need a chain tool. This compact breaker pushes out a chain pin to split a chain and helps you press it back in when you rejoin it.
Listing details: metal frame with a rubber-coated, anti-slip grip; an integrated chain hook that holds the links in place while you work; a groove on top that shows how far you have pushed the pin out; heat-treated parts; and a printed instruction manual. It is small enough for a trail toolkit.
Check before you order: the listing says it suits common bicycle chains of 7 to 12 speeds. For a 6-speed or single-speed chain, which are wider, confirm the fit first. Check your chain's speed rating or measure its width, and send us a photo if you are unsure.
Keep the pin in line with the tool and push slowly; a pin pushed all the way out is hard to put back.
