This charger delivers 54.6 V at 3 A from a standard wall outlet and is for 48 V lithium-ion e-bike batteries only; the 3 A output charges faster than a 2 A charger. It is listed by the manufacturer as c-UL-us Listed.
Key facts as stated by the manufacturer: output 54.6 V 3 A, 110 V mains input, built-in over-voltage, over-current, short-circuit and over-temperature protection, LED status light, flame-retardant housing. The manufacturer describes a DC 5.5 x 2.5 mm / 2.1 mm plug with 12 mm 3-pin and 18 mm XLR connector options, and a fanless design with automatic shut-off.
Check before you order: the output voltage must match your battery. Read the label on your current charger: it must say 54.6 V, and the connector must be the same. The manufacturer says it is not for any other voltage, lead-acid or LiFePO4 batteries, scooters or hoverboards. Do not use it on a battery whose voltage you cannot confirm.
Connect the charger to the battery first, then to the wall outlet, and never leave a charging battery unattended.
