A simple in-line extension for the 3-pin waterproof plugs used on Bafang e-bike throttles and brake levers. One end is a male plug and the other a female plug, so it slots between a throttle or brake-lever lead and the harness without changing anything else. Use it when a cable falls short after a handlebar swap, a stem riser or a new cable route, or when a lead has been damaged and you want to keep the original part.
Two lengths: 20 cm for a small gain in reach and 130 cm for long runs on cargo bikes or tall handlebars.
It fits the yellow 3-pin throttle and brake plugs on the standard 1T4 harness used by Bafang BBS01B, BBS02B and BBSHD mid-drive kits and by Bafang hub-motor kits. It does not change the pin count and it is not for 2-pin, 5-pin or 6-pin plugs. Do not use it to join parts from different systems: a plug that looks similar can have a different pin order.
Before you order, take a photo of the two plugs you want to join. Installation takes about 5 minutes: disconnect the battery, unplug the throttle or brake lead from the harness, plug the extension in line, press until the plugs seat, and secure the slack with zip ties away from moving parts.
