Not sure? Send photos — we check before you payA pigtail is a plug on a short cable with bare wire ends. It is the repair part for a throttle, brake sensor, light or display whose plug has been cut off, burnt or corroded: cut the damaged plug off, splice this pigtail to the wires and the connector is as good as new. This one has a 3-pin female waterproof plug on one end and loose wires on the other.
Key facts as stated by the manufacturer: Julet-style 3-pin female plug, 900 mm (about 35 in) cable, IP66. The same family is sold in 2- to 6-pin versions, so count the pins before you cut anything.
Check before you order: you need the opposite sex to the plug you are replacing. If the part you are repairing has a male plug, choose this female pigtail; if it has a female plug, choose the male version. The manufacturer does not list in text which wire goes to which pin, so note the wire positions on the old plug before cutting and join them one to one.
Soldering or crimping, plus heat-shrink, is recommended for a lasting repair. Disconnect the battery first.
