UART 1-to-4 Main Wiring Harness, 130 cm - Fits Bafang BBS01B / BBS02B / BBSHD (UART Only)

The main wiring harness of a Bafang BBS mid-drive kit links the motor to the display, the throttle and the two brake cut-off levers. A cut, crushed or corroded harness can make the display go dark, stop the motor, or make the power cut in and out. This 1-to-4 harness replaces it.

Key facts as stated by the manufacturer: one 8-pin plug for the motor, then four branches: one 5-pin display plug (green), two 3-pin brake plugs (yellow) and one 3-pin throttle plug (yellow). Length 130 cm (51 in). IP65 waterproof plugs. UART protocol.

Fits: Bafang BBS01B, BBS02B and BBSHD mid-drive kits that use the UART protocol. Does not fit: Bafang M-series mid-drives such as the M620 (G510), M600, M510 or M500; CAN-bus versions of the BBS02B or BBSHD; hub-motor kits. Read the label on your motor or controller: if it says CAN, this harness is not for your bike.

Check before you order: compare your old harness with the list above (one 8-pin motor plug, one green 5-pin display plug, three yellow 3-pin plugs). A gear-shift sensor, if you have one, plugs into a brake plug in the same way. At 130 cm the harness can be longer than the original, so plan the routing and secure the extra length with zip ties. This is a compatible replacement harness, not made by Bafang.
